Goal: Digital Capability
Digital capability is the term we use to describe the skills and attitudes that individuals need if they are to thrive in today's world. At an individual level we define digital capabilities as those which equip someone to live, learn and work in a digital society.
Digitally Forward empowers women teaching them the digital skills they need to be successful. The ability to navigate technology is crucial for academic, career, economic mobility, and economic independence. With these skills they will be able to move onward and upward in both their life and careers.
We teach critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on fundamentals of technology and Microsoft Office suite of products. The self-paced learning program is a combination of individual practice and group learning. In-person and virtual conferencing sessions allow the women to not only develop and gain the skills they need today, to get higher paying jobs but also to be prepared for a virtual work environment.
