Financial resilience is more than just money in the bank. A healthy relationship with other people, social networks, and active participation in the community is essential for resilience. Strong relationships not only make for a happier, healthier life, but they can also provide support in times of crisis and build resilience.

We value building trust and community to support the women and their children just how your family would support you. When those around us succeed, we succeed as well. Circle of Care goes beyond investing intellectual, emotional, and social capital for women and their children to achieve a life of economic security and independence.

Program: Resource Access, Social Networks & Opportunities

We invest resources, build relationships, and coach with recommendations.

FFG Coaches invest in young women and their children, enrolled in the FFG programs. A team of FFG Coaches supports and assesses a participant’s needs. Based on the individual case, they get access to all of the following in addition to the FFG programming and coaching:

Resources: Period Products, Feminine Care & Hygiene Products, Personal-Care Education, Personalized Care Packs for a Healthy Body & Mind, Rental Assistance, Assistance for Emergencies, Transportation Means
Relationships: FFG Coaches, Community Connection—Social Networks, Care Line (365 Days - 24x7)
Recommendations: Job Connections, Personal Growth Opportunities, Connecting them with other Community Organizations

98% of the women, who are rising out of homelessness and marginally-housed single mothers, have no support from the father of their child or their families. They are living in a temporary borrowed space far away from available services. They have very low credit scores, so financial support is critical to the well-being of themselves and their child(ren). None of them have a caring adult in their lives. FFG is providing the Circle of Care to support them through a rough phase of life and provide them a scaffolding for both personal and professional growth.
